job_description.job_card.job_descriptionTracking and fixing shipping errors Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized Prepare Shipping Documents : Verify all necessary shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping labels, packing slips, and export documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure products are correctly picked, shipped, and maintain accurate inventory records Communicate with customer service on shipment updates, damaged goods, shipping related issues, and returns. Ensure that all shipping activities comply with regulatory requirements, such as customs regulations, hazardous materials handling, and international shipping laws and process Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce delays, and enhance operational efficiency. Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs Strong analytical skills to resolve issues related to shipping, inventory discrepancies, or delays Attention to detail when processing shipments to include managing documentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with staff, customers, and other departments. Forklift certification ( required ) Must be able to pass MDOT online training course Previous experience with JDE (preferred)
