Responsibilities Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships.
Review mathematical calculations, organize calculations to be included in the design file, and follow project standards as assigned by the Project Manager.
Establish project goals and milestones, define responsibilities, coordinate resources, and monitor project progress.
Design and model simple to more complex roadway design projects, including renewals and reconstruction, as part of transportation projects.
What You Will Need Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
Desire to obtain your E.I.T (and pursue a P.E. in the future).
Experience performing design efforts and plan development for transportation projects (roadway, traffic, hydraulics, erosion control, etc.).
Knowledge of MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
Willingness to be adaptable to office and field project site inspection tasks to support project design.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in deadline-driven environments.
Location This position will be based in any of the following offices : Rapid City, SD; Omaha, NE; Bellevue, NE; Lincoln, NE; Grand Island, NE.
