Plant Maintenance Coordinator
We are seeking a dedicated Plant Maintenance Coordinator responsible for coordinating and training Plant Maintenance Technicians. The role ensures adherence to safety and quality standards while maintaining operational efficiency within the plant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Identify potential safety hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor Plant Maintenance Technicians to ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Provide input on safety issues and support other departments with safety concerns.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Investigate accidents and determine corrective actions.
- Respond to fire alarms and investigate causes.
- Design and implement measures to ensure product quality.
- Support departments with quality concerns and oversee equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot quality problems and represent the department in meetings.
- Provide training to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
- Oversee ordering and maintenance of spare parts.
- Provide technical support to departments and Plant Maintenance Technicians.
- Investigate and implement cost-saving procedures and systems.
- Oversee building maintenance, including HVAC and equipment installation.
- Negotiate prices for special parts and oversee the purchasing of spare parts and supplies.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field of study, or equivalent years of experience in Plant Maintenance.Minimum ten (10) years of experience in metal stamping or robotic welding maintenance.At least one (1) year of supervisory experience in Plant Maintenance.Experience in resistance welding.Strong troubleshooting abilities with excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.Proficient with Mitsubishi PLC software and ladder logic troubleshooting.Proficient in robot programming, teaching, and electronic repair.Fluent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer literate.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good communication and interpersonal skills.Working knowledge of PLCs and Fanuc robots.Six (6) years of experience with programmable controllers.Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder diagrams.Proficient in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.Work Environment
The position requires working Monday through Friday on the first shift, with potential overtime as needed. The work environment is dynamic, offering hands-on technical challenges within a precision-driven automotive manufacturing setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Smyrna, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00 / yr.
