  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Job Requirements

  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Commit to all policies and procedures, including company dress code and health & safety guidelines.
  • Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Travel and flexible hours are required to work at multiple locations and cover at Patient Service Centers / In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Demonstrate superior customer focus and the ability to communicate openly and transparently.
  • Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
  • Medical training : medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Work Experience

  • Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum two years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard / data entry experience.
  • Additional Job Details

  • Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite (bus, Uber, rideshare is not considered reliable).
  • Must be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift.
  • Excessive absenteeism / tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination.
  • Ensure you verify the commute time to / from the physical work location when applying.
  • Candidates need to be within a 20-25 minute commute window to ensure their ability to travel to / from the site for coverage.
  • Hours : M-F 7 : 30AM - 12 : 00PM
