About the Role :
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Columbine Poudre Home Care, you will :
Provides direct physical therapy based on directions of physical therapist to relieve pain, restore / develop function, and maintain maximum performance.
Utilize a variety of physical agents and devices to reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery.
Communicate with physicians, family, Physical Therapist, and other parties regarding changes in treatment plan.
What We're Looking For :
Experience : Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Colorado Physical Therapist Assistant license. 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant; experience with geriatrics and long-term care preferred.
Skills : Ability to write routine reports and correspondence with medical staff as well as patient / family members. Ability to carry out instructions and provide basic problem solving. Must be proficient in database software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Attributes : Adaptability to manage patients in a variety of living situations. Collaborative mindset to coordinate care with other skilled clinicians. Passion for serving others and a drive to continually grow and develop.
