Aircraft Detailing Lead - Van Nuys, CA JOB TITLE :

  • Aircraft Detailing Lead TYPE : Full Time (40 hours per week) PAY : $26.25- 27 per hour  SHIFT : Open / flexible availability is desired (Monday - Sunday) 8am to 5pm shift- 5 days a week, days will vary LOCATION : Van Nuys Airport (VNY) & travel to surrounding Immaculate Flight locations with the use of a company vehicle  Company Overview  Immaculate Flight is the nation's largest privately-owned aircraft detailing company.

  • Growth, development, and advancement are available to any motivated teammate!  Job Summary  Immaculate Flight Lead Detail Technicians will assist with the overall day-to-day operations in their location.
  • They will ensure safety, compliance, quality control, execution of standard operating procedures, and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy for your location.

Essential Functions Aircraft Detailing :

  • In the absence of Location Supervisor, you will execute and oversee all aspects of the aircraft detailing process, including interior cleaning and sanitization, as well as exterior detailing and polishing.
  • Follow detailed cleaning, safety and quality checklists to maintain consistency and thoroughness.
  • Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Complete all safety and training modules Quality& Safety Assurance
  • Establish and enforce strict quality and safety standards for all aircraft under your supervision.
  • Inspect aircraft interiors and exteriors to identify and address any areas needing additional attention pre and post detailing.
  • Assist with regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies to your Supervisor or Operations Manager [or Asst.
  • Ops if applicable]

  • Must be an outstanding communicator.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • High level of Interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient at all detailing services available within Immaculate Flight.

    • Organizational Structure

  • Reports directly to location’s Supervisor(s) Required Education / Experience
  • 6 months internal experience preferred Travel Requirements
  • 0% to 15% - Daily Travel between airports using company vehicle Physical Requirements This role involves a variety of physical activities and environmental exposures, including but not limited to :
  • Lifting objects up to 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Pushing, pulling, and using hands for grasping and reaching
  • Working at elevated heights
  • Bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Handling moderate to high noise levels
  • Exposure to biohazard and / or approved chemicals
  • Repetitive movements involving arms, wrists, hands, and fingers Vision Requirements :
