Emergency Medicine Physician at Protean Med LLC summary :

An Emergency Medicine Physician is responsible for handling routine ER duties including medical emergencies and codes. The position requires a valid medical degree, completion of an accredited residency program, and current board certification. Physicians provide care during varying shifts and must be credentialed to practice within the facility.

Schedule / Availability Requirements : Shifts Available :

6 : 30am-3 : 30pm
11 : 00am-8 : 00pm
3 : 30pm-12 : 30am
9 : 30pm-6 : 30am

Duties : Routine ER duties; codes; ER locums don't have a lot of trauma responsibilities EMR : EPIC

Support Staff : Reason for Coverage : transition

Deal Breakers :

Minimum Education : M.D., D.O.

Training : Completion of an ACGME / AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program.

Experience : Actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or completion of an Emergency

Medicine Residency in the last 6 months

Credentialing Information : Timeframe : 60 days (completed application needs to be returned to facility 48 hours after receipt) Requirements : Case logs from facilities need to be returned ASAP;

Submission Requirements

Board Certified / Board Eligible - REQUIRED

NE license or IMLC - Highly Preferred

ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS - REQUIRED

Clean Malpractice - Highly Preferred

Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
