Department Overview

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Nephrology team. This role is essential in providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.

Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Job Summary

As a CNA, you will assist nursing personnel with a variety of patient care activities, focusing on the personal needs and comfort of our patients. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will :

Assist with taking vital signs and maintain medical supplies.

Perform clinical duties as delegated, following personalized training and competence.

Provide support to patients with basic healthcare needs, including daily living activities.

Record vital statistics and collect non-invasive biological specimens.

Prepare treatment areas and clean medical equipment, adhering to safety standards.

Carry out clerical work related to patient scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by licensed nursing staff.

Certification and registration with the Minnesota Board of Nursing Assistant Registry is required.
