Supervisor, Maintenance

Within our Tracy, CA manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Supervisor for our Plant technical team to advance our organization in maintenance, controls optimization, and production efficiencies. At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $ 91,000 and $ 110,000 . This position also offers an annual target bonus of 10%

Responsibilities :

The Maintenance Supervisor provides guidance and direction to the Maintenance Department team. This role involves making strategic decisions regarding equipment maintenance, safety, and department efficiency. The supervisor monitors maintenance activities related to production processes, control systems, utilities, and plant facilities to maximize equipment uptime, efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost control. They oversee preventative maintenance, schedule emergency repairs, and develop their team through engagement, mentoring, and development.

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food industry, with applicable education substituting experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading, mentoring, or delegating tasks to others.
• Proficiency with computer systems, with the ability to learn SAP or similar manufacturing software.
• Strong knowledge of reliability principles, industrial equipment maintenance, and repair.
• Technical knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, construction, welding, electrical principles, and PLCs.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of safety and sanitary design principles.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and people management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influence skills.
• Strong planning and resource management abilities.
