About The Position

📝 Description :

  • A leading health system in New York’s Capital Region is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Inpatient Neurologist to join an established hospital-based neurology team. This permanent, full-time position offers a flexible 7-on / 7-off or 14-on / 14-off schedule, no outpatient responsibilities, and no call outside of scheduled shifts—ensuring excellent work-life balance in a mission-driven environment.

📋 Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide inpatient-only neurological care
  • Manage a wide spectrum of neurological conditions (stroke, epilepsy, dementia, etc.)
  • Participate in a rotating 7-on / 7-off or 14-on / 14-off inpatient schedule
  • Collaborate with general and specialty neurologists for seamless care
  • Support the hospital’s Primary Stroke Center designation
  • Deliver high-quality, team-based, and compassionate care

    • ⏰ Working Hours :

  • Flexible schedule : 7-on / 7-off or 14-on / 14-off
  • Shift Type : 24-hour hospital coverage
  • Weekend Requirement : Included in schedule
  • On-Call : Only during scheduled shifts, no additional call

    Job Requirements

    🎓 Qualifications :

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology – Required
  • Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
  • Active NY State medical license or willingness to obtain – Required
  • DEA license or willingness to obtain – Required
  • Local candidates (within 30 miles) are not eligible
