Our great client in Franklin, WI has an immediate opening for a Sr. Database Administrator.

Primary Duties, Requirements & Responsibilities

• This role requires an agile mindset within a continuous delivery model.
• Ability to work in agile teams by defining and planning work on a team backlog and determining ways for the team to be successful in meeting its outcomes.
• Demonstrate technical leadership within the team
• Apply engineering standard methodologies to analyze and develop software solutions
• Experience with on-prem Relational Databases with emphasis Db2-LUW in engineering and DBA capacities.
• Leverages established coding standards, best practices, and automation capabilities to develop solutions to support our users
• Identify technical problems and develop software solutions and automation capabilities
• Have the technical skill to adequately review the software code developed in the project
• Strive for continuous improvement on all aspects within the team and build continuous integration and continuous development pipeline (CI / CD)
• Ability to write and maintain complex Unix shell and Python scripts for maintenance, automation and testing.
• Competency in ITIL processes : Incident, Problem, Knowledge and Change Management. Experience using ServiceNow is preferred.
