Pre-Operative Registered Nurse

You will utilize the nursing process and adhere to established hospital policies and procedures.\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Continuously assess the patient's physical and psychological condition throughout their care journey, documenting findings accurately and communicating significant data to the relevant disciplines.\n
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.\n

• Engage in training and educational activities to support the development of other staff members.\n

• Arrive at work on time, prepared, and adhere to hospital policies regarding attendance and absences.\n\nQualifications\n\nEDUCATION\nGraduate of an accredited school of nursing required.\n\nEXPERIENCE\nPreferred prior experience in geriatric psychiatry and hospital settings.\n\nLICENSURE\nCurrent nursing license required; Basic Life Support certification required, with CPI training to be completed within one year of employment.\n\nSPECIAL SKILLS\nPrevious experience in geriatric psychiatric care is preferred.\n\nYNHHS Requisition ID : 161652
