job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access to the chemical or petrochemical location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors. Assist in implementing and following site-specific security-related procedures and protocols. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or breaches according to company and client procedures. Assist emergency response teams during incidents by providing access control support and following emergency procedures. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to maintain a secure environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Security Officer - Chemical Access Specialist
As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Specialist in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. You will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
