New Gig Solutions is actively seeking a Temporary Lab Technician (Electrical Technician) to support our client’s Electrical Engineering team in Santa Clara . This is a short-term role (1–2 months) with a growing medical device company , ideal for someone with strong fine motor skills , experience working with small electrical components , and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced lab setting.

This opportunity is open due to the current technician being assigned to cleanroom production — and we’re looking for someone who can jump in and support right away.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in electrical assembly of small and precise components

Perform wiring and soldering work on crowded PCBs (printed circuit boards)

Support the engineering team at various stages of the assembly process

Learn quickly and adapt to diverse electrical components with varying specifications

Maintain attention to detail when working with delicate materials and setups

Requirements :

Previous experience with electrical assembly , soldering, and wiring

Exceptional fine hand skills – must be comfortable handling very small components

Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision

Strong attention to detail and precision

Experience working in a lab or technical environment preferred

Contract Duration :

1 to 2 months , with the possibility of extension based on project needs

Full-time hours preferred during the contract period
