We are seeking a Data Center Facilities (DCCF) Engineer for a Contract position with a client in Plano, TX. Responsibilities include optimizing facility reliability and security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support deployments and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Rate Range

$56.00–$64.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical data center infrastructure including HVAC, UPS, generators, and MEP systems to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data center managers and cross-functional teams to support deployments, optimize layouts, and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure standards.
• Monitor power consumption, cooling systems, and network capacity to maintain optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Conduct physical security checks and ensure adherence to industry security protocols and standards.
• Lead facility-related projects, including system upgrades, asset management, and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide technical support and documentation for infrastructure changes and communicate effectively with stakeholders and executives.
