Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team! We are a Ophthalmology practice seeking a dependable, hard working individual who can manage multiple assignments. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for greeting patients who come in the door, checking them in, and pulling relevant patient files or obtaining new patient information. You will also answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate place, mail or fax documentation to the appropriate offices, and maintain excellent medical and correspondence records, as appropriate. The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.

• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite and experience with EHR / EMR. NextGen EMR knowledge is a plus.
• Previous office experience desired
