An excellent locum opportunity for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient coverage in a leading healthcare facility in Lufkin, Texas. This role offers a steady workload, supportive staff, and an ongoing need to fill coverage gaps through .
Practice Highlights
- Inpatient-only Gastroenterology practice
- Coverage needed for specific dates (listed below)
- Required procedures : Endoscopies, Colonoscopies, and ERCP
- Anesthesia support available conscious sedation preferred when possible
- EMR : Paragon (transitioning to EPIC in late 2026)
- Support staff : Experienced endoscopy-trained GI nursing team
