Compensation : $80 per hour

Summary :

The School Psychologist provides comprehensive support to students, addressing their academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs within the school environment. The School Psychologist collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Job Responsibilities :

Intervention :

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to find effective solutions to academic and behavioral challenges.
• Utilize a background in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) to guide interventions.
• Conduct classroom observations to gather information and provide recommendations for improving student outcomes.
• Participate on MTSS committees to contribute to school-wide intervention strategies.
• Participate in the development, management, and implementation of behavior plans, as well as in the completion of functional behavioral analyses (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Participate in functional behavior analyses for Manifestation Determination meetings.
• Conduct individual, group, and crisis counseling sessions as appropriate to address student needs.
• Communicate with and refer to outside agencies, hospitals, or clinics when appropriate to connect students and families with necessary resources.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services when necessary to ensure student safety and well-being.

Qualifications :

Master's Degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology.
