Registered Nurse - Wound Care
POSITION PURPOSE
The Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care position is responsible for delivering care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation under the supervision of the Wound Care Manager.
MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications
Experience :
- Current New Mexico license as a Registered Nurse
- One (1) year as a clinical nurse in a hospital environment
Education :
Bachelor of Science (BSN) Degree from an accredited school or college of nursingCertification in Wound Care must be obtained within three (3) years. Must be maintained annually with re-certification every ten (10) yearsBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) requiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferredMandatory Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications :
Advanced knowledge of provider schedule management and utilization.Knowledge of front-end revenue cycle process, including patient registration, government and commercial insurance processes.Able to prioritize a wide variety of tasks, make decisions, cope with stressful situations, meet tight timeframes, adjust to unexpected or unscheduled demands, and revise work accordingly.Strong oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation and workflowsInterpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with providers, staff, patients and the community.Strong computer Microsoft and Excel skillsPI6a987f6d0cb0-30511-37359907
