Join Our Team as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! At Oceanside Dental and Orthodontics located in Myrtle Beach, we aim to create lasting smiles by providing a positive and enjoyable dental experience for kids and teens. We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and compassionate Dental Assistant who loves working with children, thrives in a team environment, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our young patients and their families.

  • Qualifications :
  • Previous experience or training is a must!
  • Possession of X-Ray, Coronal Polishing, CDA, RDA, EFDA, or EDDA certification is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus.
  • Completion of a dental assisting school program is beneficial.
  • Must be able to work full-time (30+ hours per week).
  • State licensure / certification may be required based on location.
  • Responsibilities :
  • Greet and assist young patients, ensuring their comfort and ease.
  • Support caregivers and dental professionals in delivering high-quality care.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment for each patient.
  • Maintain a smooth patient flow and ensure a child-friendly setting.
  • Schedule :
  • 8-hour shifts with daytime hours, no night shifts required.
