Overview

We're looking for a skilled Fabrication Manager to join our team at Glo Fenestration, a leader in high-performance, luxury windows and doors. This role will oversee our fabrication operations, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in every project. If you're passionate about craftsmanship and leadership, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the fabrication department, including scheduling, workflow, resource allocation, and P&L.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and company procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise fabrication staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution of custom window and door systems.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for efficiency, cost control, and process improvements.
  • Manage the maintenance of equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure safe and optimal performance.
  • Oversee inventory and material usage, coordinating with procurement to minimize waste and delays.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a window / door fabrication setting with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of window / door fabrication processes, tools, and machinery.
  • Strong competency in technology (computer systems, software, office suite, Google, Dropbox, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing production teams and meeting project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Experience with Logikal, Schucal, or other related software systems pertinent to the fabrication of windows and doors preferred.
