Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Wound care certification (required)

Ostomy certification (CWOCN) (required)

Below agencies are approved for Accreditation – please do not decline travelers with certifications from other agencies, until approved by Management, as they may also be acceptable.

American Board of Wound Management (ABWM); National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO); Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB)

Required Education :

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Skills required :

General wound care background is a must, Wound Vacs, Nurse Level Debridement, Perform ABIs, Cast cutting

Support on the Unit :

Outpatient : 2 CNPs, RN’s, 1 CNA assists the outpatient team, front desk scheduler

Inpatient : all RN’s

Charting System :

EPIC – please let CRT know if traveler does not have EPIC experience so they can ask approval

Floating : If yes, where?

Can float from inpatient to outpatient

Orientation : (facility and unit)

1-2 weeks for unit

Scheduling :

Inpatient and Outpatient : Monday-Friday 8-5. No nights, weekends, or major holidays.
