Description : Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB / GYN Hospitalist for our practice at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs CA. Enjoy living where most people like to vacation!

Job Description : A full-time position is approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts / month = 2190 hours annuallyWill consider someone who wants to work a minimum of approximately 5.5 24-hourshifts / month = 1560 hours annually still benefit eligibleLocation is outside the city2 OB Hospitalists in-house 24 / 7 - never on shift aloneResponsibilities include delivery attendance OB triage patient evaluation / management surgical assists fetal monitoring and ER coverageMFM performs rounds and inpatient consults with high risk patientsPractice attends about 60 deliveries per month30-bed community Level-III NICU / newborns 23 weeks and aboveAffiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology practice support387-bed tertiary acute care facility and is the only Level I Trauma Center in Coachella Valley serving more than 8000 square miles of Southeastern CaliforniaTeaching opportunities with fellows residents and medical students.This is a permanent full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
