Weekend Associate Designated Coordinator

Salary : $59,000 - $65,000 annually | Full-Time, Exempt

The Role
The Weekend Associate Designated Coordinator provides leadership oversight of our 245D residential programs during weekends. This position is designed as a career stepping stone to Designated Coordinator or Designated Manager roles, offering hands-on experience in staff supervision, crisis management, compliance monitoring, and on-call leadership.
Primary Responsibilities :
Weekend Leadership
- Oversee multiple 245D residential sites and ensure compliance with CSSPs, addendums, and IAPPs
- Monitor staff documentation in Therap (progress notes, MARs, data collection)
- Conduct medication audits and quality compliance checks
- Lead weekend staff meetings and provide onsite coaching
On-Call (Friday 4 : 00 PM - Monday 8 : 00 AM)
Respond to staff calls; provide consultation and problem-solving supportManage staffing coverage for sick calls and scheduling gapsDocument all incidents and maintain on-call logsEscalate emergencies appropriatelyWeekend Schedule Breakdown
This position follows a consistent pattern of on-site work followed by overnight on-call coverage.

On-Site : 4 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PMOn-Call : 10 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM (into Saturday)Saturday
On-Site : 8 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PMOn-Call : 11 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM (into Sunday)Sunday
On-Site : 8 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PMOn-Call : 11 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 AM (into Monday)This schedule includes a total of 36 on-site hours per weekend.
Behavioral Support & Crisis Response
Coach staff through challenging situations involving complex behavioral support needs including physical aggression, self-injury, elopement, mental health crises, and emotional dysregulationImplement trauma-informed, person-centered de-escalation strategiesTrain staff on incident reporting (OIN) and rights protectionEnsure all interventions prioritize dignity and individual preferencesProvide direct support coverage only when staffing gaps occurQualifications
Required - Meet ONE of the following :
Bachelor's degree in human services + 1 year direct care experience with people with disabilitiesAssociate's degree in human services + 2 years direct care experience with people with disabilitiesDiploma in human services + 3 years direct care experience with people with disabilities4 years direct care experience under qualified supervision + 50 hours documented disability-related trainingAlso Required :
Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs including aggressive behaviors, self-injury, elopement, or mental health crisesSupervisory or team leadership experience in social servicesWorking knowledge of Minnesota 245D licensing requirementsValid driver's license, clean driving record, and $300k CSL auto insuranceReliable transportation for multi-site travelEssential Skills :
