Quality Control Tech

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., (GCH); parent company of Bema, and Elite Extrusion Technology, recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Quality Control Tech with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. This position ensures product quality and safety from inventory to finished customer product.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Report non-conformances to managers and work to identify, investigate and correct
Communicating quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Daily testing procedures during the manufacturing process, ensuring that products comply with food safety and quality standards and written specifications
Monitoring GMP’s to ensure employees are following company policy
Perform inspections across all stages of production.
Assist in the implementation of the AIB program requirements
Ensure compliance with customer requirements
Work with Converting, Lamination, Blown Film departments to achieve quality objectives
Assist manager in the execution of corrective action and ongoing compliance with customer’s specifications and requirements.
Interpret data from routine analysis to validate that materials meet specifications and approved for shipment to customers.
Reports to and work closely with Research and Development Manager and Quality Supervisor
Any duties assigned by Manager

Requirements :

Minimum of 2 years inspection and / or production preferred.

Quality Control experience

Ability to lift and / or move up to 20 pounds occasionally

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

AIB or SQF Certification experience required

Ability to use precision measuring tools

Intermediate math and computer skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Proven problem-solving ability

Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
