This position offers a well-balanced mix of ICU, inpatient consults, and outpatient pulmonary medicine, with the option to incorporate Sleep Medicine if desired. Position Highlights : Clinical Rotation Includes : - Medical ICU & inpatient pulmonary consult service at Ellis Hospital - Outpatient pulmonary clinics in Schenectady and Amsterdam - Acute rehab coverage at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital - Optional Sleep Medicine involvement for interested candidates Call Schedule : 1 : 10 (very manageable) Team Environment : Multidisciplinary and collaborative with strong APP and nursing support Culture : Physician-led group with a focus on clinical excellence and provider well-being Candidate Requirements : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Active New York Medical License and DEA Registration Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits : Base Salary : $400,000 â€" $425,000 Incentives : Productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, and extra shift compensation Starting Bonus available Comprehensive Benefits Package including : - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Paid Malpractice Insurance with Tail Coverage - CME Allowance & Paid CME Time - Generous Paid Time Off - Retirement Savings Plan with Employer Match Note : The posted salary range reflects the starting base and does not include performance-based earnings or additional cash compensation.
