About The Position

Job details :

  • Position : Echocardiography Technologist
  • Location : Waterloo, IA
  • Shift :  8hrs Day shift

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • RCS or RDCS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA

    • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) using Philips and GE equipment.
  • Accurately analyze and interpret cardiac ultrasound images to assist physicians in diagnosis.
  • Manage patient care efficiently across both Clinic and Main Hospital settings.
  • Maintain detailed and precise patient records in the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Adhere to established protocols for pediatric and adult echocardiography cases.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to urgent cases during weeknights and weekends.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of ultrasound equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to provide quality care.
  • Comply with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in the echocardiography lab.
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives by reporting equipment issues and workflow challenges.
