Manages the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projectsPerforms Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviewsCreates pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plansConducts Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projectsPerforms field observations and functional testingDocuments and tracks test results on issue resolution logsCreates commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reportsAssists in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunitiesActs as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of CommissioningRequired Experience :
- Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning
- Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements
- Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
Education :
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in design or construction management with a focus on mechanical systems
- Engineer-In-Training Certification or valid CA Professional Engineering License
- Industry- recognized energy management certification
