Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sandblaster to join our team in Morgantown, WV. As a Sandblaster, you will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for finishing by removing contaminants and ensuring a clean, smooth surface. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with your hands, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

  • Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces for painting or coating.
  • Inspect surfaces before and after sandblasting to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Mix and prepare abrasive materials according to specifications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Keep work area clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in sandblasting or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and equipment.
