Power Systems Engineer

This job requires some travel acrossthe USA and extensive customer interaction on thephone and via email. Must have good command of English and excellent communication skills over the phone, in presentations, and in writing. Candidates with prior experience with power systems modeling and simulation are preferred. On-the-job training will be provided. The technical aspect of the job includes but is not limited to performing the following activities :

• Marketing : It is a technical marketing activity where you interact with customers (researchers, professors, utility engineers, and power systems consultants) and provide them with technical details of our products and services and their requirements. Arrange and participate in product demonstrations at client sites, trade shows, and conferences. Our products include PSCAD - Electro Magnetic Transients; RTDS Real-time Hardware In Loop simulator; Spitzenberger and Spies amplifiers and test equipment.
• Research and Development : Develop new models and systems using the above simulators, create case studies and application notes, andpublish when possible.
• Consulting : Perform and participate in commercial power system simulation studies and testing using theabove simulation tools.
• Commissioning and Training : Arrange and participate in customer training at our office and on-site. Participate in commissioning at customer sites and provide on-site training and technical support.
• Customer Support : Provide technical support through phone, email, and online.
