ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work in a 40-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

    • \n

  • Maintain 1 : 2 patient ratio

    • \n

  • Use standard PACU equipment and Cerner documentation system

    • \n

  • Float within peri-anesthesia areas including Endoscopy / PreOp / Phase II

    • \n

  • Work 6-week scheduling periods with 3 call shifts required within each 6-week period

    • \n

  • Dress code requires surgical green or navy scrubs

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

    • \n

  • Must have NIH Stroke Scale experience

    • \n

  • Advanced ventilator monitoring skills needed

    • \n

  • Trauma and pediatric experience preferred

    • \n

  • Unit support includes HUC available 7 : 30 AM-4 : 00 PM and 4 PCTs scheduled daily

    • \n

  • PCTs can draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients

    • \n

  • Unit located in K Tower, Cost Center 704
