Communications Assistant
The Communications Assistant is a supportive role within the Communications Center whose responsibilities include answering incoming phone calls, inputting data entry for follow-up and quality assurance, and clerical tasks involving, but not limited to, maintaining the front-end accounts receivable records for Kettering Transportation Services.
Job Specific Duties :
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Enter calls for service into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
- Work in conjunction with the billing office to insure proper patient billing information.
- Assist with submitting PCS and BA forms.
- Confirms insurance coverage on appropriate portals for the insurance providers.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly statistical reporting.
- General understanding of Zoll, preferred.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.
