Security Professional Access Control Patrol Tech

As a Security Professional Access Control Patrol Tech in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points and patrol designated areas within a dynamic technology-driven environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication to all individuals on site. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere, responding to situations as they arise, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Pay Rate : $21.10 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
  • Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting visitors and employees in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or breaches of policy to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
