Student Disability Services Assistant

A company is looking for a Student Disability Services Assistant responsible for processing student accommodation requests and providing support within the Office of Accessibility Services.

Key Responsibilities

Answer calls and chat requests related to accessibility services

Process incoming referrals and schedule appointments between specialists and students

Assist in researching assistive technologies and inform students and staff about university programs and policies

Required Qualifications

One to two years of administrative support or customer service experience

Associate's Degree preferred

Knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act and related regulations

Experience in a clerical role within a higher education institution is preferred

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and work prolonged periods at a desk
