Job Title : FileMaker Cloud Server Engineer

Location : Austin, TX ( Telework with occasional onsite requirements )

Interview : WebCam / In-person

U.S. Citizenship needed

Certification Required :

  • Claris FileMaker Certified Developer (FMCE) : validates expertise in FileMaker solutions.
  • Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate (useful for cloud / database migration knowledge).
  • Oracle or SQL DBA Certification (optional, adds credibility in database administration).
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (for cybersecurity awareness and compliance).

Job Description :

  • Recover administrative-level access to the Agency's FileMaker Server v13.
  • Create new administrator credentials and secure backup copies of the on-premise FileMaker database.
  • Design and configure a new FileMaker Cloud database mirroring the schema of the on-premise system.
  • Transfer data from on-premise FileMaker Server to FileMaker Cloud.
  • Conduct thorough data validation and verification (minimum 350 non-sequential records).
  • Certify data integrity, functionality, and accuracy of migrated cloud database.
  • Generate reports and provide documentation of the migration process.
  • Adhere to agency security policies, confidentiality standards, and cybersecurity training requirements.

    Minimum Requirements : Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills / experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.

    Years Required / Preferred Experience : 4 Required - Experience recovering FileMaker Server access, experience working with FileMaker Server and FileMaker Cloud, and experience transferring on-prem FileMaker databases to FileMaker Cloud.
