Services Coordinator
This position is on-site in Tulsa, OK. The hours for this position are 4 : 30PM-1 : 00AM, Monday through Friday. Applicants must be comfortable with working evening / nights!!!
As a Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and routing inbound calls and messages to medical staff. You will manage the dispatch of routine and critical clinical messages and vital patient statistics to designated hospital staff. Additionally, you will monitor alarms and codes, maintaining accurate on-call schedules for departments and physicians.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls in a courteous manner and accurately direct each to the appropriate department or individual while maintaining a 99% average answer time.
- Page notifications accurately based on situation / request to the appropriate personnel.
- Answer, document, and relay information related to the medical answering service.
- Monitor, communicate, and forward information pertaining to codes, alerts, alarms, and drills according to established policies and protocols, including disaster management plans.
Essential Skills
Two or more years of customer service experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to operate various telecommunications systems effectively.Capability to handle highly stressful situations effectively.Proficiency in acting quickly, decisively, and accurately under stress.Friendly, upbeat, and polite demeanor under stress.Ability to defuse tense situations.Flexibility to work various days, weekends, and holidays, including different shifts.Basic knowledge of telephone / computer technology and equipment, including ASCOM system.Accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute or higher.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.Experience with patient registration, healthcare, phone operation, dispatch, data entry, call center, patient scheduling, administrative support, and medical terminology.Work Environment
The work environment involves direct interaction with patients and customers, as well as collaboration with internal and external healthcare professionals and staff. The position requires flexible working hours, including shifts from 5am to 1am, covering various days, weekends, and holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 / hr.
