About The Position

Job Title : Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an emergency department environment, with recent ED experience within the past six months.

License : State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.

Certifications : BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours)

Must-Have :

• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Description :

Our Emergency Department Registered Nurses must be ready to care for patients when they need us most.

In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, the ED RNs are equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages.

Our nurses are trained in dealing with trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions.

Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions.

They should be able to prioritize injuries and medical needs accordingly.

This is a busy unit with a 1 : 6 patient-to-nurse ratio.

The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts and requires every other weekend.

There is no on-call requirement and a holiday requirement of three out of six.
