A company is looking for a Billing Specialist to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and verify prebills for assigned attorneys, ensuring all unbilled time is captured
Log and edit returned prebills, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and internal protocols
Track unapplied credit and trust balances, applying them to invoices or requesting refunds as needed
Required Qualifications
5 years of billing experience, preferably in a law firm
Knowledge of the firm's business processes and operations
Proficiency in Excel and ability to maintain spreadsheets
Aderant legal billing software experience is preferred but not required
Understanding of the firm's goals and objectives
