Role Overview :

Alameda Health System is hiring! The Project Manager III is a senior-level role responsible for leading complex, large-scale projects from initiation through completion. This position involves overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives that enhance clinical operations, improve patient care systems, implement new technologies, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and CMS guidelines. The role requires managing budgets, timelines, and risks while driving organizational change in a dynamic environment. Projects may include electronic health record (EHR) implementations, facility expansions, process improvements, or data analytics enhancements, clinical or operational improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Required Education : Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Required Licenses / Certifications : PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent required; additional certifications like CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or healthcare-specific credentials (e.g., CPHIMS) are advantageous.

Minimum Experience : Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 4-5 years in the healthcare sector managing complex projects.

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Experience : Experience with healthcare systems and regulations, including EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner), clinical operations, and compliance standards.
