California workers compensation defense firm is looking for an associate attorney with 1-5 years' experience. The Successful Candidate will possess strong negotiating and litigation skills and ability to work independently. Additional responsibilities include :

• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
• Good organizational skills.
• Multitasking skills.
• Must be able to prioritize.
• Adhere to company policies and procedure.
• Keep clients apprised as to case status; updates, etc., in accordance with client protocols and firm guidelines.
• Maintains updates and follows up communication via telephone and emails.
• Maintain working knowledge of practices and procedures.
• Development of positive communication with support staff.
• Enter time accurately on a daily basis with appropriate description.
• Performs other duties and / or special projects as assigned by direct report.
• Occasional appearances in court and depositions.

Qualified candidates must have experience in a fast-paced environment, be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has a stable work history.
