About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience :

Strong Pediatric ICU experience required.

Cardiac step down and general cardiac experience preferred.

Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years.

License :

Must have a valid Registered Nurse license.

Certifications :

BLS certification required.

PALS certification required.

Must-Have :

Strong Pediatric ICU experience and CVICU experience required.

Experience in telemetry is required.

Description :

Join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team.

Provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families in a state-of-the-art unit.

Deliver comprehensive care for patients with various medical and surgical problems.

Conditions treated include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-system organ failure, and ECMO.

Responsibilities may involve floating to multiple units based on staffing needs.

This role requires proficiency in basic arrhythmia and the ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting.

Candidates should possess active competencies in pediatric care and telemetry monitoring.

This position is for a mixed unit with both CVPICU and PICU patients.

An active commitment to patient safety, infection control, and quality care is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate expertise in managing complex pediatric cases and specialized interventions.
