Day to day as a Nurse

As a Registered / Licensed Nurse at Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional direct nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being. You will supervise the activities of nursing assistants on your shift, providing guidance and oversight to uphold the highest standards of care. This role requires adherence to current federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies, in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Services.

Your leadership ensures that all nursing practices reflect our commitment to excellence, integrity, and safety, ultimately enriching the lives of those we serve.

To thrive as a Registered / Licensed Nurse at Butterfield Trail Village, you will need a combination of professional qualifications and essential skills. A current Arkansas State Nursing License is mandatory, and while one year of prior nursing experience is preferred, your ability to communicate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships is paramount. A successful candidate must possess critical thinking skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.

Organizational skills are vital to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Basic computer skills are required to navigate necessary software and tools. Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

Qualifications :

• Current Arkansas State License in Nursing is required
• One-year prior nursing experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
• Ability to organize & prioritize job responsibilities
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff
• Genuinely care for and be interested in elderly in a health care facility
• Must be compassionate and patient, organized, professional, detail oriented, goal driven, and be able to multi-task
• Ability to work some holidays
• Be flexible to work another shift when necessary
