Motor Technology, Inc., a national leader in providing superior quality and value in electro-mechanical repairs and services to our customers, is seeking a Service Repair and Wholesale Estimator. Since 1981, we have been an integral part of keeping national industries up and running smoothly and efficiently. We are a family-owned company that builds, services, and sells industrial motors, controls, gearboxes, and related driven equipment for advanced electric motor systems. Our Estimators are responsible for gathering necessary information, creating a price structure from the information, and supporting customer needs on various types of rotating and electromechanical equipment. Majority of tasks are completed in an ERP program which assists with pricing, structure, and document organization.
The hours for this job are 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break from 12 : 00PM to 1 : 00PM.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and manage service repair quotes and estimates with accuracy and efficiency.
Develop wholesale quotes and estimates in accordance with company pricing structures.
Research and price required parts to support timely and cost-effective repair solutions.
Generate and issue purchase orders to approved vendors for authorized repair work.
Process, receive, and invoice completed wholesale repair items in a timely manner.
Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person to provide support, information, and updates.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to meet operational and customer service goals.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge or aptitude.
Ability to learn, perform, and retain training on job-related tasks and procedures.
Proficient in computer use, including common business software applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in preparing quotes and estimates.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
