Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a NE or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities Work in a hospital ICU setting with up to 6 ICU beds in a 32-bed acute care facility

Patient ratio is 1 : 2 for ICU nurses

Typical equipment used includes ventilators, arterial lines, non-invasive ventilation, Hi Flo, and Airvo

12-hour night shifts, either 1845-0715 or 0645-1915

Requires working 4x12 hour shifts (48 hours) per week, with additional shift coverage expected for major holidays

No floating to other units or departments

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, execution of interventions, patient and family education, and care coordination within an interdisciplinary team

Orientation for travelers includes 4 hours of classroom orientation, shadowing a floor nurse, and one mentored shift before independent work

Pewter grey scrubs are required

Team-oriented and traveler-friendly environment

Must be able to cover 12 / 24-12 / 25 shifts as needed

Only candidates residing 50 miles or more from the facility will be considered

Requirements Active NE or compact RN license

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required

Current BLS (AHA / ARC), ACLS (AHA / ARC), and PALS (AHA) certifications required
