The mission of the Office of Information Technology at the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) is to provide innovative, reliable, and secure technology solutions that support the department's strategic goals and operational needs.
This position is for a Career Service position located at Central Office in the Office of Information Technology.
The position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.
JOB DUTIES :
- Support OIT Workflow : Assist the OIT Bureau Chief with managing workflow tasks relating to OIT administrative programs, including contract / vendor management, procurement, procedures and IT audits, ensuring high customer service and satisfaction.
- Consult and Coordinate : Serve as a consultant to supervisory personnel, coordinating contract management, vendor management, invoice approvals, and procurement activities.
- Manage Contracts and Compliance : Develop and manage OIT contracts and agreements, staff augmentation contracts, contract management plans and ensure compliance with contract terms, providing technical assistance and corrective action guidance.
- Invoice and Records Management : Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate transaction records. Reconcile invoice payments and assist in routine file audits to support records management activities.
- Evaluate and Onboard Staff : Conduct evaluations of staff-augmented personnel, manage resource hours and timesheets, and handle onboarding and termination processes, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Facilitate Meetings and Documentation : Lead or participate in stakeholder and vendor meetings, manage contract processes and documentation, and assist with audits.

Must possess a Bachelor's degree.Two years' experience as a lead worker or management experience.Three years' experience with Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft based emails and calendaring or equivalent.Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application.
