Category Coordinator

Summary

Category Coordinator at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our PacMar team supporting efforts of our Category Manager in the planning, execution, and analysis of product categories. This role is critical in ensuring that product assortments, pricing strategies, inventory levels, promotions, and vendor relationships align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail or merchandising environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Inventory and Supply Management :

• Be responsible for assisting in managing inventory sourcing on assigned group of programs.
• Supply day-to-day management to ensure product availability and performance.
• Communicate daily market conditions, incoming products, current inventory, and potential / current outages.
• Review inventory, item movement / history, ad projections, and product supply; determine need and recommend or place orders.
• Report variances with corrective actions to the sales manager and sales supervisor once per period.
• Support daily push and extra value items
