What you'll do :

Come join the AmeriHome's team, a Western Alliance Bank company, as a Staff Engineer II of the Data Services team. We’re building a cutting-edge platform designed to streamline and enhance business workflows in the mortgage lending space. As part of a dynamic and growing team, you'll help shape the software that drives our evolving business needs.

As a Staff Engineer II, you'll provide expertise in a suite of technical tools and products in each domain to ensure solutions are safe, secure, compliant, and reliable. You'll identify develop and support needs, as well as taking on design responsibilities supporting project tasks. As the Staff Engineer II, you'll facilitate dialogue and activities to ensure team collaboration including teams outside of your domain. You'll develop effective presentations and narratives for their teams.

• Lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design.
• Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.
• Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures while also ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards. Develop desktop procedures when needed that others follow.
• Collaborate with your partners in engineering, technology team, information security, and product management to understand requirements, and turn those requirements into carefully designed and well-authored quality code.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Utilize web front-end and back-end technologies to analyze, design, develop, and unit test both non-consumer-facing and consumer-facing applications, with high quality and on schedule.

What you'll need :

Compensation : Salary range for new hires is generally $139,530.00 - $172,360.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus / incentives earned and restricted stock.
