Slate Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology- IR -

Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 24

Patient Ratios : 3-4 : 1 pre / post; and 1 : 1 intraprocedural

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : CNA support in both pre / post areas

Type of equipment : IV Pumps. Specialty Beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes

Documentation system : Cerner

Procedures performed on unit : IR, Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications : ACLS / PALS

Scheduling requirements : 4 10 hour shifts per week; on call 4-5 weekday nights per 6 week schedule, and every 10-11th weekend.

Floating policy : We do not float. We do flex based on volume

Patient Experience requirements : Critical care and / or previous procedural experience (IR preferred)

Requested Skill Set : Experience with all cardiac diagnosis, emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, CVA

Must have : ICU or ED experience; would prefer previous IR experience, moderate sedation experience

Dress Code : (Required uniform) Green hospital issued scrubs.
