Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Therapeutic Interventions : Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' daily living skills, mobility, and independence. Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
  • Patient Education : Educate patients and families on strategies for managing and adapting to their conditions, maximizing their independence and quality of life.
  • Documentation : Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development : Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practice.

Requirements :

  • Licensure : Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience : Minimum of 6 months experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab.
  • Skills : Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Professionalism : Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
  • Transportation : Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
