Overview

Are you looking for a challenge? We are seeking a SHAREM / MIREM Technical Editor to provide support to the Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare (SHAREM) and Mine Warfare Readiness and Effectiveness Measuring (MIREM) in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning conferences supporting exercises.
• Provide assistance with drafting Test Plan / OPORD, Data Collection Plan and Analysis Plan based upon input generated during planning conferences.
• During exercises, assist ships' company in comprehending and executing plans, and by ensuring they collect pertinent data required to support exercise reconstruction and analysis.
• Communicate exercise results orally and in written formats to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices.
• Apply familiarity with the design and construction of experiments to assist with the design of events or exercises.
• Assist in providing insight during ad hoc workshops and conferences.
